Prayer Wall

“Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit. which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

UPDATE 9/20: We praise God that John just got word he will be returning home tomorrow! They will do CAT scans every two weeks to continue monitoring his healing progress, but he can be home with us and recover around family!

UPDATE 9/16: Doctors decided to hold off on John's additional surgery. He is being discharged today in a neck brace and will have daily X-rays and doctor appts to monitor neck alignment and symptoms. He may need another surgery but we hope (and pray) that he doesn't. So appreciative of prayers and meals!

UPDATE 9/15: They found that nothing moved, but there is a disk that they didn’t get into the spot they wanted. They also were able to give him Toradol and it helped him with his headache. He has not been brought the hard neck brace he’s supposed to be in, but he is doing better today. We are hopeful that he will be discharged today or tomorrow.

###

Please lift John up in prayer. His surgery went well, but last night he got a severe headache. They tried several strong medication, but it did not help. This morning they did ex-rays and found that something may have moved. They are running more tests and he may have to go back into surgery. He will remain in the hospital for a few more days as of right now.
