Prayers for my sister Vicky who had knee surgery last week. She does not do well with pain meds and is having terrible pain. Prayers for my daughter Hilary who I took to the ER last night as she suffers from excruciating migraines. Praise God I am out of the hospital and I’m recovering from my blood infection. My cancer markers are still good. Prayers for my kidneys as I have to have surgery again to replace my plastic temporary stents with metal ones. God is so very good and thank you all for your prayers.

Update on John

John has surgery tomorrow for the hernia. Please pray all goes well. As far as his neck, they are going to wait until just after Thanksgiving to do one more CAT scan and decide how to proceed. We are praying for wisdom for the surgeon as going back in could be more harmful, but seeing John in so much pain is hard as his wife.

Please pray for John. He is back in Anchorage for hernia surgery and found out just before going up that one of his fused disks is moving. So he has to see his neurosurgeon to decide what needs to be done. They are concerned about going back in because of possibly making things worse, but want to relieve his pain.

Patsy DeWitt

Please pray for Lana DeWitt as she learns what her new normal is. - Several years ago she developed clots in her legs and to keep the clots from going to her heart or brain a stent was installed below her heart.. She has been having problems and the drs thought it was due to scar tissue. This weekend they were going to remove and reinstall but found out they can’t remove her IVC filter because it’s embedded in her vena cava. She will be on blood thinners for the rest of her life. Which is causing a compete life style change, no broccoli no leafy green vegetables no blueberries no blackberries no alcohol ever again. She will have to be very careful with what she does physically because if she gets hurt, she could bleed out.
