I was supposed to have surgery last night as my legs are swollen. It was scheduled for 1am this morning, but I was sent home and now it’s scheduled for 7am this morning. I’m having my plastic stents replaced with metal ones. Please pray this will heal my kidneys. Praise God my back has not hurt all week. I’m scheduled to sell at the Makers Market this weekend so I need to be well. God is good.

Marty Dean, son-in-law of Joyce and Warren Vansickle, was found to have a tumor on his pituitary gland. He is scheduled for a lengthy surgery tomorrow morning. Lord we lift him up to you asking for your gentle, wise, loving Spirit to guide the hands of the surgeon(s) and team. We know you are with Marty and ask your blessing of peace and healing. Amen

There are a shortage of families able to provide foster care in Juneau at this time. Due to this fact, children are having to go outside of Juneau for foster care. Please pray for these children/families and more availability for our foster case system in Juneau.

Thank you

Please lift up Iris and her family as her prognosis has taken a turn. After being sent to Bartlett for stomach pains last month, surgery for an ulcer, there were then complications and she was sent to Seattle. After a second surgery she has not recovered and they expect she only has days to weeks left as her kidneys are failing. Please pray for her eldest son Jon as he travels from Gustavus to Seattle today with Iris’s husband who has beginning dementia so they can all be together with the other two siblings and Iris.
