Update. Seattle Gastroenterologist Doctors put me on my death bed, talking about hospice and end of life. My oncologist said I have options even though my stage 4 cancer is back. She is putting me on a new cancer drug in a week. She said I could get two more years. My stents for eating are successful. I have to eat puréed foods from now on. There is power in the name of Jesus and power in the blood. My coughing has slowed way down. God is good.

She and her daughter and family leave tomorrow for her husband Don's burial in Illinois who died in December. This has been a lot of heartbreak. Prayers for my daughter-in-law Ariana who went into the hospital nearly five and a half weeks early. The doctors will deliver our first grandson this weekend via c-section because of concerns for both mom and baby. Prayers for my son as he takes care of two girls at home and worries for his wife and son. They recently moved to California and are at least an hour away from family who might be able to help watch the girls while the parents tend to this new baby. The new baby will surely be in the NICU for awhile.

UPDATE, 3/10: The procedure was successful, and Barbara's heart has returned to a normal rhythm. Praise the Lord!
On Friday she will undergo cardioversion for her irregular heart beat (A-FIB) that has failed to be converted via medication. It is a procedure that attempts to shock the heart into a regular rhythm, done under light anesthesia.
