Please pray for the Grismore family. Letty sent the following message today. She and Ruben are at home in the Netherlands.

Could you please pray for Dwight and his father as they are still fighting COVID19. David and Dwight have been in Ohio for almost 5 weeks now. David got tested positive first the day they were supposed to fly home. A week later Dwight tested positive and a few days later his parents. Dwight's dad was admitted to the hospital last night as he had high fevers, was dehydrated and very weak. Dwight went to the ER this morning as he kept feeling worse after 11 days of fever. He has pneumonia and was sent home with a boatload of medications. Hopefully things will start improving now. Appreciate your prayers.

Thank you for your prayers for our friends in Puerto Cabezas, but please keep praying. Iota has passed and all of the people are safe. However, the devastation is incredible. One report I saw said that 80% of the city was destroyed. The majority of the buildings on the Verbo compound have serious damage, including the orphanage and the discipleship center. Then entire country is experience flooding, which will cause major issue on the bridges between Managua and Puerto Cabezas as far as getting food and other goods to Puerto, and the rivers are still rising. Please keep praying.

A member of our congregation has just been diagnosed with cancer. She would like to remain anonymous at this time as she is not ready to receive calls. Please feel free to send her a card that includes a prayer for her. This can be done by giving the card (with my name on it) to Stephanie in the church office or by placing it in my box at CBTL (in the copier room) and I will see that she gets these cards.

Her prayer requests include prayers for healing, prayers for getting further diagnostic testing and treatment in a timely manner, decisions and opportunities concerning housing as she receives treatment out-of-town (possibly), finances to cover her diagnostics and treatment, wisdom and discernment for her doctors as they determine the best course of treatment, continued assurance that she is in God's hands and a strong realization of His presence and comfort.

Dear Chapel Family-- as some of you may know, about a year ago I set aside my studies to help my mom, Jeannie, care for my dad, Ron, who has a rare neurodegenerative disease. Dad is now near death. I know and love that Chapel is a praying congregation. Would you please pray for God's grace for us to care well for dad here at home in these final days, and for dad to die peacefully as he leaves us to enter the joy of his Lord Jesus Christ. With deep gratitude, tracee.

Thank you for all of your prayers for Puerto Cabezas. The hurricane has passed and all of the people are safe unharmed. However, there has been significant damage everywhere. Earl estimates that 1000 homes will need rebuilt in just their area of town. There was damage to the orphanage and the school. Other villages were flattened. The Rio Coco, which is the river between Nicaragua and Honduras where many of the orphanage kids are from, is flooding and villages are still being evacuated. Many families have lost everything and now don't even have access to food. Please keep praying as this is going to be a very long recovery.

A note from Myrlene:

My test results are back and they are negative! Who says God still doesn’t do miracles today? He has been blessing us before, after, in between, and throughout this whole ordeal. He always keeps His promises!

Thank you for your continued prayers and encouragement even though many of you also have serious health issues. I’m praying for all of you and reminding you that we’re all in God’s hands. Ed’s condition continues to fluctuate, but mostly improving. He’s still in the hospital. He has also appreciated all your prayers, cards, and concern. I thanked his Dr. for his support and he said “Yes, I do work long hours, but the nurses are the real heroes! They have to suit up every time they go into a Covid patient’s room”. Please, pray for all health care workers, especially the nurses and doctors. Pray for wisdom, safety and protection for all of them. Love to you All. ~Myrlene

P.S. Please, continue to wear masks and physically distance from others.

Marilyn: PTL! I'm 10 times better than yesterday! I haven't bounced back this high, so fast before!! Thanks for your prayers. I was able to totally enjoy the sunny day. Yes, I'll pace myself.
