Update on Andrew and Marilyn:

Praises! They received an extension to stay at their current location for another week or so. Please continue to pray for a place for them to transfer where they can be together and Andrew can continue to receive the intensive therapy he needs. Andrew is working on standing, transferring and walking.

They are incredibly thankful for our continued prayers. Please pray that Andrew gets an extension to his time at VM Rehab Hospital-at this point they have to transfer on the 18th. Pray that Marilyn can find a place to transfer Andrew where he will get the intensive therapy that he still needs.

Update on Andrew:

From Marilyn; Praises! Every day we feel God’s presence and encouragement through friends, family and talented and compassionate caregivers at the Hospital. Andrew is able to eat puréed food and to feed himself for a few minutes at a time. He is working to stand up on his own. Please continue to pray: 1) for continued strength and stamina for both of them, 2) that they can extend their time at the hospital for a week beyond 10/18, and 3) that they have a smooth transition to a friend’s home when they leave the hospital in a couple of weeks. They want to be near continued therapy for a period of time.

Please pray for Gene and his family. He lives in Chattanooga TN and was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer this week. He was told that he has 3 months to live. Please pray for reconciliation in the family, for his salvation, and healing in God’s will.
